• 1. Download the App:
    • Go to your device's app store.
    • Search for "Authenticator App."
    • Choose either from Google or Microsoft(recommended).
    • Download and install the app.
  • 2. Open the App:
    • Tap on the app icon to launch it.
  • 3. Initial Configuration:
    • Grant any necessary permissions, like camera access for QR code scanning.
    • Set up notifications for alerts (recommended).
  • 4. Add an Account:
    • Tap the "+" or "Add" icon in the app.
    • Choose to scan a QR code or manually enter account details.
  • 5. Scan or Enter Details:
    • If scanning a QR code, use your device's camera to scan the code showing on the screen.
    • Or if entering details manually, input the account name and key showing on the screen.
    • *** If you can't see a QR code or setup code, it's possible that you already have it scanned. We only allow you to install it once. If you need more than that please contact the I.T. Service Desk Support person. ***
  • 6. Complete Setup:
    • Follow the on-screen instructions to finish adding the account.
    • Now, your Authenticator App is set up and ready to generate one-time passcodes for enhanced account security.
